Terms of service

Last updated: 2026-10-25

1. Scope

These terms govern the use of Coready by companies and the people who work in them. Coready is offered to businesses, not to consumers. Terms agreed individually in writing take precedence.

2. The service

Coready provides an admin panel, a customer database, a versioned API and the Studio website builder, hosted and maintained by us. What a company may use — users, products, counterparties, storage, emails, included Coready AI, Studio — depends on its plan, as shown on the pricing page and on the company's plan page.

3. Accounts and companies

People sign in with an account of our sign-in service, the SSO. Each person keeps their own account; sharing sign-ins is not allowed. A company's owner and admins decide who works in it and with which role, and are responsible for what is done in the company.

4. Plans, trial and payment

Prices are shown per month, payable monthly or yearly. The Start plan includes a 7-day free trial. Renewals and changes of plan are requested on the plan page and take effect once we have confirmed the terms with the company. A limit only refuses new records past it; nothing already stored is removed. If a subscription is suspended, cancelled or has ended, new records can no longer be created, while the company's websites stay online and its data stays available.

Everything is paid in advance from the company's prepaid balance, kept in the currency of the country the company bills from (euros in the EU and Switzerland, US dollars in the United States and Ukraine). The balance is topped up against an invoice, paid by bank transfer, and credited once the payment has arrived. All prices are net: VAT or other taxes are added on the invoice where they apply, or are accounted for by the company itself under the reverse charge, and are always borne by the company. Coready AI is charged per reply at the AI provider's list price plus 25%, converted at the European Central Bank's reference rate of the day; the plan's included Coready AI is used first. A balance may fall below zero only down to the limit we set; that amount is owed and is settled by the next top-up. The balance can be used only for Coready's services: it cannot be paid out, transferred to another company or converted.

5. Your content and your customers' data

Everything a company puts into Coready remains its own. The company is responsible for its content, its websites and its compliance with the law towards its customers, including an imprint and a privacy policy on its websites. We process its customers' personal data only on its behalf and instructions, as described in the privacy policy; a data processing agreement is available on request.

6. Acceptable use

Coready may not be used for unlawful content or goods, to infringe the rights of others, to send unsolicited messages, or in ways that endanger the service or other customers (for example by circumventing limits or overloading the API). We may suspend access where this is necessary to stop such use.

7. Availability and changes

We operate Coready with care and keep daily backups, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability; maintenance is kept short and announced where it can be. We develop Coready continuously and may change features, provided the service as a whole stays fit for the purpose agreed.

8. Ending the contract and your data

A company may end its subscription at the end of its billing period. Its data can be exported at any time through the API. After the contract ends we delete the company's data, except what we must keep by law. A positive balance left when the contract ends is refunded on request, less any amount owed.

9. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an obligation essential to the contract, limited to the damage typical and foreseeable when the contract was made. Otherwise our liability is excluded.

10. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If a provision is invalid, the others remain in force. The operator's details are in the imprint.
