Billing

Your company's prepaid balance: currency, tax, top-ups by invoice, and what it pays for.

Billing — in the menu under your name — is your company's prepaid balance: what is on it, how to top it up, its invoices, and everything it pays for.

One balance for everything

Coready is prepaid. Your company keeps one balance, and everything Coready charges is paid from it:

Nothing is paid for before money is on the balance, and nothing is charged twice: a double click, or a page that sends the same purchase twice, buys once.

The currency

The balance is kept in the currency of the country your company bills from, chosen when the company was created and shown in Billing → Billing details:

Your company is inBalance and prices in
A country of the EUEuros (€)
SwitzerlandEuros (€)
The United StatesUS dollars ($)
UkraineUS dollars ($)

Coready works with businesses in these countries. The country can be changed until the first money moves; after that the currency stays, because a balance has one currency.

Prices and tax

Every price is without tax. Tax is added on top, and your company always bears it:

  • Germany — German VAT (19%) is added to the invoice.
  • Another EU country — no VAT on the invoice: your company accounts for it in its own country (the reverse charge). Your VAT ID must be in the billing details.
  • Switzerland, the United States, Ukraine — no German VAT: your company accounts for any tax due in its own country.

Tax is charged once, on the top-up invoice. Spending the balance on Coready's services is not taxed again. Coready sells to businesses only.

Topping up

  1. Fill in Billing details once: your company's legal name, address, country and, in the EU, its VAT ID.
  2. Under Top up, choose an amount. You see the amount, the tax and the total before you continue.
  3. Get the invoice issues it at once, with Coready's bank account and the invoice number to quote.
  4. Pay the total by bank transfer. When it arrives — usually within one or two working days — the amount without tax is added to your balance, and the invoice shows as paid.

Only admins can top up, buy and change the billing details. Every invoice can be printed or saved as a PDF from its page. Card payments are being prepared; until then you can link a card under Billing, but top-ups are paid by transfer.

Below zero

A balance may go below zero only down to a limit Coready sets for your company — often none. It is there so that an answer already running, or a renewal on the day, is not cut off. Whatever is below zero is owed, and your next top-up pays it back first. Past the limit, paid features pause until the balance is topped up: your data, your shop and your websites keep working.

When nothing is left

When the balance (with the plan's included AI) is used up, Coready AI and new purchases pause.

  • Admins see Top up wherever it matters.
  • Members press Ask an admin in Coready AI or on AI usage. Every admin gets an email and sees the request on AI usage; a paid top-up answers it.

An admin can also give each person a monthly Coready AI limit on their page under Settings → Employees. Someone who reaches their limit asks for a higher one the same way.

Your plan

Billing → Plan shows what your plan costs and until when it is paid. A plan with an end date renews itself from the balance a day before the end, unless you turn Renew automatically off. Renew now pays the next period at once. If the balance cannot pay, the plan is marked past due: top up, then renew. A plan without an end date is not charged.

Discounts and special invoices

Coready can agree an individual offer with your company — a discount on your plan, modules or services, for a period or without end. It is applied automatically whenever you pay for what it covers, including automatic renewals, and every purchase shows its price before the discount and what was taken off. If more than one offer fits, you get the largest; offers do not add up. Coready AI is never discounted.

For a negotiated deal Coready may send you a special invoice with its own lines — for example a year of your plan, months of a module, a service, or money for the balance — each with its discount. You pay it by bank transfer like a top-up. When the payment arrives, each line is delivered at once: the plan is extended, the module months are added, the service is booked, and a top-up line goes to your balance.

Your partner

Your company may work with a Coready partner — a studio or agency that helps you set up Coready, build your website or connect other services. Your partner, what it helps with and how to reach it are shown on your dashboard. Working with a partner does not change your prices.

If you delete the company

Deleting a company closes its billing account: the balance, its history, the plan and the card go with it, and open top-up invoices are cancelled. Any unused balance is removed — ask support for a refund before or after deleting. Coready keeps your invoices for as long as the law requires.

Your backup holds the billing account too. Restoring the company from it brings back the balance, its history and the plan with its end date; a refund paid after the deletion is taken off. See Backup and restore.
