Quantity prices

Prices that fall as the order grows: set them per option value, and the shop applies them.

Quantity prices make the price per unit fall as the order gets bigger. One mug costs 5.00, a hundred cost 4.20 each, a thousand 3.60 each — and the shop applies the right price by itself.

Setting quantity prices

Quantity prices belong to an option value — "one colour print", "A4 sheet". Open the product, find the option value and choose Discounts. Add a row for each quantity where the price changes: the quantity it starts from and the price per unit from there. The first row is usually the minimum order.

A purchase price and a markup can be kept with each tier, so the sale price follows the markup when your supplier's price changes. To edit many products' quantity prices at once, use the Price list module.

In your shop

The product page, the price calculator, quotes and checkout all use the price for the quantity in the basket. Quantity prices are part of every Coready catalog — there is nothing to switch on.
